Easter products have long remained wasteful and uninteresting. The Easter season is instead a time for tradition, meeting and indulgence. Buddhist philosophies of Wabi-Sabi and Kintsugi both regard the acceptance of fault, imperfection and creating a new beauty from broken objects—such as the shared experience in the breaking of an Easter egg.
