Have Half, 2016

Packaging Design

An Easter egg for two, Have Half is designed with an experience in mind that celebrates the long and continuing history of Kintsugi spring tradition and the bond of friendship.

Easter products have long remained wasteful and uninteresting. The Easter season is instead a time for tradition, meeting and indulgence. Buddhist philosophies of Wabi-Sabi and Kintsugi both regard the acceptance of fault, imperfection and creating a new beauty from broken objects—such as the shared experience in the breaking of an Easter egg.

Have Half presents a curated and choreographed experience, to be shared and enjoyed. Each egg is composed of a solid shell, mousse and fruit topping. It presents a curated and choreographed experience, to be shared and enjoyed—in a range of three luxurious variants.
